Jennifer,
I will take your statement as true until we uncover facts to demonstrate
that you were misled. All I was doing with emails to you is to make
sure you have clear understanding about our concerns and to get
you to state what you believe to be true.
We are doing a comprehensive investigation on the Puctra Funds.
Now that you demonstrated bravery and so certain that Puctra Funds
are used appropriately and lawfully; can you advise Steve Larson
to make such statement as you did in your email to me?
My concern with you is this and you have not answered yet: is Patrick
McDermott salary paid from Puctra Funds?

Yaya, since you cc’d me on your e-mail to Steve, I responded.
Yes, I would like to see what you originally sent him if you did
not send it to me too. But for the record, I have looked into the
matter, and there is no unlawful use of the funds. You may want
to do exactly as I suggested in my memo to you about requesting
information through the public records act. The funds are being
charged correctly.

Jennifer:
Are you being
funny or serious? My email was addressed to Steve Larson, the Executive
Director. He knows what my email is all about. Do you need a copy?
By the way, how long have you been in the Commission? I will be
sending a letter to you concerning your letter to me about Patrick
McDermott and the Puctra Funds.
Let me state
this to you: You better talk to legal to give you advice on certain
matters. The Concerned Staff Committee and What Now?! are doing
an investigation about alleged miss-directions of Puctra Funds.
We are trying to get facts and information to determine the truth
or falsehood of the allegations and you are sticking your head into
this matter.
You do not have
to worry if you know that there are no inappropriate and unlawful
activities going on with regards to the use of Puctra Funds.
By your cc to
Paul Clanon, you might be creating a problem for him because uses
of Puctra Funds were made not by the Divisional Director who is
de jure responsible for those funds but by "The Management
Group" of which Paul Clanon was a member of for over ten years.
I am sure since I never included his name I bet he would like it
to be that way.
I usually do
not deal with PUC MATTERS AT THIS TIME. I usually deal with PUC
just before I go to sleep. But your intervention here was so funny;
I had to respond at this time.
Again if we
find out eventually that there was no unlawful activities, you and
others do not have to worry. OK
By for now.
Yaya Fanusie.

Yaya, I see
no request from you that gave a date of October 3, 2005; however
any information from Cleveland Yee is, of course, truthful.

Steve Larson,
Executive Director
CPUC.
The Concerned
Staff Committee and What Now?! did not receive your response to
our letter in which we asked you to confirm by October 3, 2005 that
the information provided to us by Cleveland W. Lee, Staff Attorney,
is complete and truthful.
This is to inform
you that we have now contacted the State Controller Westley for
his assistance.
We would like
to inform you that we intend to investigate other Funds of the Commission.
Sincerely,
Yaya Fanusie,
