Agency
Incompetent

bring the Commission Down.
Patrick,
You
accused me of planning to " bring the Commission down"
during our phone conversation this morning when I called to find
out how much time do I have off to attend the State Personnel Board
Hearing today at 1PM in Oakland. You stated that I have made it
my intention to bring the Commission Down.
I
asked you to tell me when did I make such a declaration?
I also asked you how come you interpreted my challenges to some
managers and directors who are not honest, and who misuse and abuse
their Authority and power, as constituting "bringing the Commission
down?".
Look
here man; I intend to make sure we have meaningful and substantive
changes in the Commission. This Commission has expended too much
of state funds fighting lawsuits and losing because there are too
many managers and Supervisors here who ought not to be where they
are because they are incompetent and not only that, they are not
trustworthy. People like you fail to understand that we are not
just workers here but also we are RATEPAYERS and therefore, we expect
Managers and Leaders of the Commission to be competent, honest and
above all to exhibit traits of fairness.
This commission is not a welfare agency for some in management to
give the doles to their friends and relatives, etc. We need meaningful
change here; it is long overdue. Ratepayers and the California economy
require a commission led and managed honestly, efficiently, and
effectively in providing excellent services for the Residents of
California. I will not be intimidated: I will continue to struggle
against official ineptness, lack of integrity, incompetence and
so on.
I am not concerned if my action increased your blood pressure. You
could help your health by joining the struggle to make this Commission
a great place to work. Ok my friend?
