RE: Lexmark Copier/Printer/Fax Machines

Dear Mr. Larson:

As a taxpayer in California, I would like to know why the Public Utilities Commission is purchasing Lexmark copier/printer/fax machines at a cost of $2,749 each + sales tax + installation & training cost + fax telephone line for every copier/printer/fax machine + the maintenance agreement cost + toner cartridge cost without purchasing enough toner cartridges. These copier/printer/fax machines should not be put out of commission while waiting for the delivery of toner cartridge supplies. There needs to be a supply of toner cartridges available at all times in case any of these copier/printer/fax machines’ toner cartridges needs to be replaced. Any machine down time is wasting taxpayer funds.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Yaya Fanusie, Ph.D.
