Subject: What Now?! Newsletter, the Voice of The Concerned Staff Committee.

Dear Governor Schwarzenegger:

The Concerned Staff Committee is a group of state employees dedicated to fostering integrity, creativity and innovation in state service.

We do not hesitate to report managerial inefficiency and incompetence. We need honest and competent managers in the State Bureaucracy.

We support your goal of getting rid of waste in the state service and we urge you to pursue vigorously your quest to “open the book”. If you do that, you would realize that you will have to fire over 70% of the current senior managers of many departments and agencies of the State of California.

We will point to you where to look to discover where waste is located in the bureaucracy.
We have several important concerns which we submitted to Gray Davis’s during his tenure as Governor, but those issues were not resolved. We intend to submit those matters to you soon.

Sincerely

Yaya Fanusie, Ph.D
